Ratana takes great pride in offering reticulated foam on all their luxury outdoor seating collections. Unlike traditional polyurethane foam, which soaks up water like a sponge, reticulated foam is an open cell material.
Excellent Drainability
Reticulated foam’s open pores allow water and air to easily flow through the seat cushion. Whether direct moisture (like rain or liquid spills) or dew, mist, fog or other environmental elements, Ratana’s foam cushions will completely shed moisture to provide a fast-drying, comfortable seat.
Resists Mold & Mildew
Ratana’s reticulated foam cushions are also treated with an antimicrobial agent to prevent the growth of mold and mildew. This germicide combined with the open cell foam creates a virtually maintenance free cushion in sun, rain, and snow.
